Suno turns a prompt into a song, on the web, in Suno Studio and in apps for iPhone and Android. Most proxy questions about it are really about access: a VPN that stopped working, an error about a restricted region, a queue that feels slow. The Suno terms answer most of them, and they name proxies and VPNs outright. This page quotes those terms and explains the one error tied to where you connect from. It also shows where a proxy goes when your network needs one. We read every source on 28 September 2026.

What the Suno terms say about proxies and VPNs
Suno last revised its terms on 10 August 2026, and the new version took effect on 3 September. Four lines matter here. The first covers blocks. If Suno blocks you, "including by blocking your IP address", you agree not to get around it "by masking your IP address or using a proxy IP address or virtual private network". The second covers countries: no thwarting of the rules on where content is available, "including through the use of virtual private networks". The third covers accounts: "You may not create more than one account to benefit from the free tier of the Service". The fourth bans "data mining, robots, scraping, or similar data gathering or extraction methods".
The terms also say Suno does not guarantee that the app works, or that paid orders can be placed, from any particular place. Read together, the terms do not ban a proxy as such. They ban using one against a block or a country rule, and we give no steps for either.
The restricted-region error
The help center lists this error under phone logins: "You attempt to log in but receive an error about being from a restricted region". Its explanation reads: "A restriction in certain regions could be in place due to an uptick in suspicious or unusual activity, and is often not permanent".
The fix is the one Suno gives. You email support@suno.com, and "we may request that you start a new account using one of the SSO login methods such as Login via Google". After that, "our team can help with moving any existing music and credits to your new account". Suno signs people in through Apple, Discord, Facebook, Google or Microsoft, not with a password. A new address is no part of that fix, and after a block the terms forbid one.
What no address changes
Everything people hope a proxy speeds up on Suno is set by the plan on the account:

The priority queue runs up to 10 songs at once. The download limits began on 3 September 2026, and Suno says they "will make it harder for bad actors to mass-export music". The terms add that a copy of a song may come only through a Suno download channel: "recording or stream ripping are prohibited". A different address does not refill credits, move you into the priority queue or add downloads.
No official API
Searches for a Suno API run into another meaning of the word proxy. On 2 July 2026, Music Business Worldwide reported: "Suno does not currently offer an official public API". Suno had asked developers to apply for a curated partner group instead. We found no API launch on the Suno blog up to 28 September, and about.suno.com/developers answered 404.
The same report calls the services sold as a Suno API unofficial wrappers, built by third parties. A "Suno API proxy" is one of those relays, not a network proxy. The terms ban robots and scraping on Suno, whatever sits in between.
What we measured
suno.com was one of the sites in our study of free proxies against AI sites on 24 August 2026. Of 24 working free exits, 17 got a normal page, 2 got a block page and 5 timed out. A free exit is shared with everyone who finds it on a list. That makes it a poor place to sign in to an account with songs in it.
On 28 September, the Suno app was listed in 42 of the 44 App Store storefronts we checked, with no listing in Bangladesh or Morocco. A listing does not prove that the service works in a country. A search for suno in the App Store also returns music apps from other sellers. The help center says to look for the developer "Suno, Inc." before you install one.
Where a proxy goes
A proxy fits Suno in one plain case: a network where every connection must leave through a known exit, such as a studio or an office with that rule. Suno has no proxy setting of its own, so the proxy goes where the device keeps it.
- The website and Studio. Studio runs in the browser, and Suno recommends Chrome for it. Chrome has no proxy setting of its own and uses the one of the operating system, as our Chrome guide shows. Firefox keeps its own setting.
- iPhone. The proxy sits in the settings of each Wi-Fi network, with an Authentication switch for the username and password. Our iPhone guide walks through it. It does not apply on mobile data.
- Android. Stock Android offers a proxy field for each Wi-Fi network but no place for a password, as our Android guide explains.
Our lines come as host:port:user:pass and generate in the http form by default. On a Residential Premium plan, up to 150 addresses can connect without the password, which suits the Android screen. For one fixed exit, a dedicated ISP address costs $2.70/IP per month. Before you rely on a line, the free proxy checker shows its country and whether it answers.

What this page does not cover
We did not install the Suno apps or sign in to Suno for this page. How each app behaves behind a proxy comes from our setup guides, not from a test. A store listing does not show whether Suno works in a country, and we checked no country beyond that. The free proxy numbers come from one run on 24 August 2026. Suno changed its terms, downloads and models in August and September 2026, so we will check again by 28 December 2026.
