Most searches for a Garena proxy server are for a Free Fire APK, going by Google autocomplete. Its suggestions include "garena proxy server free fire apk" and "garena proxy server official link". This page answers from the Garena Terms of Service, the Free Fire support page and its ban notices, and the pages that rank for the search. We read them on 28 September 2026. The short answer: none of the Garena pages we read offers a proxy server. Garena counts unauthorized third-party programs and modified game clients as cheating, and bans the accounts that use them.
What the search results offer
On DuckDuckGo, the top results for "garena proxy server" were of three kinds. Gaming news pages warned that the APKs are not from Garena and can cost you the account. Download sites offered "VIP proxy server" APKs, named after game versions such as OB54 and OB55, with promises of free bundles, skins and diamonds. And proxy sellers offered lower ping.
OB55 is a real Free Fire update: Garena published its patch notes on 10 September 2026. The version names on the download sites borrow that numbering. We did not open the download sites or install any APK.
How Garena defines cheating
The Free Fire support page answers the question directly. "Cheating includes using any unauthorized third-party programs that are not released by Garena, modifying the game client, and/or playing in a modified game client".
It also says "Free Fire has a zero-tolerance policy against cheating" and "We will ban accounts used for cheating".
What gets a Free Fire account banned
The permanent ban notice of 29 August 2022 lists these, among others:
- "Using modified or unauthorized game client".
- "Using unauthorized tools that interact with Free Fire game client".
- "Using non-official programs to provide an edge to gameplay".
The temporary ban notice of the same day adds "Abnormal account login detected". It says "any third-party application that interferes or modifies the Free Fire Game Client is not allowed". In its 2022 update, Garena said it "banned more than 200,000 hackers every day".
What the Garena terms say
The Garena Terms of Service were last modified on 29 June 2026. The license is "for personal use only". Among the things you agree not to do, the terms list these:
- using "any modified, hacked, or other unauthorized version of the Services", including to cheat.
- trying to decompile or hack the services, or to overcome their security measures.
- creating or using "multiple Accounts" for a single game.
- trying to "sell or transfer your Account".
Your account "is non-transferable and only for your personal use", and Garena may end it "for any reason, in its sole discretion and without notice". The terms do not mention VPNs or proxies.

The limits of this page
We did not install any APK, open the download sites, or test a proxy or VPN in a Garena game. Our server could not read the Free Fire help centre (HTTP 403) or the Advance Server page. We found no Garena page on server regions or on Free Fire in India, so this page makes no claim about either. This page is due for a check by 28 December 2026.
