Buy a Residential Proxy for Cyprus: Networks, Payment and Prices

A Cypriot IP comes from an internet provider on the island, and the largest is Cyta. A residential proxy routes your traffic through one of those home lines. Sites in Cyprus then show you local prices, Cypriot search results and the ads that run there.

Cyprus is a small market. Cyta holds 40.4% of its 1.36 million IPv4 addresses. One in ten sits in a record named IPXO, whose blocks 30 different networks announced on October 26, 2026. Seller pools equal 8.6% of the registry or less. Only 2 free Cypriot proxies on our list worked that day, and both were flagged. Our residential proxies target Cyprus at $0.50/GB for one GB.

Which networks does a Cypriot IP come from?

RIPE NCC, the internet registry for Europe, keeps a file of every block it hands out, with the holder's country. With records to October 24, 2026, it lists 1,360,960 IPv4 addresses for Cyprus, in 582 blocks held by 108 holders. We named each large holder by its record and checked which network announces its blocks:

Cyta's own network announces 545,792 of its 549,696 addresses. Cablenet, PrimeTel and Epic follow, each on its own network, and the four together announce 823,296, or 60.5% of the space. The tail is long for a market this size: 97 holders with 16,384 addresses or fewer share 13.5%.

Our Cyprus proxies page lists 13 networks for Residential Premium, among them Cablenet, Kibris Mobile Telekomunikasyon and Vodafone Mobile Operations. It also lists 9 cities, such as Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca and Famagusta.

Why is a Cyprus IP not always Cypriot?

A registry record shows where its holder registered, and the routing shows who uses the addresses. The second largest record, named IPXO, holds 145,152 Cypriot addresses in 144 blocks. On October 26, 2026, 30 different networks announced parts of it, among them UFO Hosting, Crea Nova Hosting and Dedicated.com. Another 56,320 of its addresses were not announced at all.

The record named NXA works the same way, with Volta LLC announcing 67,584 of its 71,936. A record named HOSTING-HOSTINGER holds 41,472 more. So for a Cypriot residential IP, look for the lines of Cyta, Cablenet, PrimeTel and Epic.

IPv6 reached 20.8% of Cypriot users in the 30 days to October 23, 2026, by APNIC Labs' measure. A year earlier it was 17.7%, and in October 2020 just 0.16%.

How large are the Cypriot pools sellers advertise?

Small, as the island is. We read five sellers' Cyprus pages through our server on October 26, 2026, and divided each number by the registry total:

Bright Data's figure is the one in its page title. The page text gives 8,155 Cyprus IPs, a quarter as many.

SOAX claims the most, 116,640. DataImpulse's counters showed 2,234 unique Cypriot IPs in 24 hours, 8,567 in 30 days and 350 active at once. Its 30-day count is 24.5 times the live one. We do not publish our own pool size per country.

What changes with a Cypriot IP?

Sites answer as if you were in Cyprus. Google's help page says "IP addresses are roughly based on geography" and that location "helps to show you nearby results". Residential Lite sets the country at the lowest rate. Residential Premium can hold a line in one city or on one network, chosen by its AS number.

Every site keeps its own rules for proxy visitors. MaxMind, an IP data vendor, flags suspected residential proxies in its Anonymous IP database. Our guide to how websites detect proxies covers the rest.

Why do free Cypriot proxies fail?

There are hardly any. Since May 13, 2026, our tracker has logged 513 Cypriot addresses from public free proxy lists, and only 31 ever worked. On October 26, 2 were working: one on Cyta's network and one at Hostkey, a datacenter network.

An IP reputation check had flagged both, and both had reports of recent abuse. Our free proxy list for Cyprus shows any that work now.

How do you pay from Cyprus?

Card or crypto both work. Visa and Mastercard top-ups start at $10, crypto at $3, and either one fills a balance that never expires. PayPal is not offered. The payment options page has every method, and our guide to buying proxies with crypto lists each network's fees.

How much traffic does a Cypriot job use?

Count on about 380 full desktop pages per GB. HTTP Archive's 2024 Page Weight chapter measured a median of 2,652 KB for a desktop page and 2,311 KB for a mobile one. Plain requests without images use far less, so weigh twenty pages of your own target before you buy.

Which plan fits a Cypriot job?

For most work, Residential Lite with Cyprus as the country, at $0.50/GB for one GB and $0.44 per GB at volume. Two flagged free proxies are no base for real work. Residential Premium adds the 9 cities, the 13 networks and sticky sessions of up to 24 hours. It costs $1.49/GB for one GB and $1.00 per GB at volume, and every tier is on our residential proxies page.

What this page could not check

  • We measured no speed, success rate or block rate on any network, ours included.
  • We do not publish which Cypriot networks our exits use, or how many there are.
  • RIPE NCC's file counts addresses given out. That is neither the addresses in use nor a count of users.
  • We traced routing for the ten largest records on one day. Addresses in the north of the island may be registered under another country, and these counts leave them out.
  • Seller pool numbers are what each page showed on October 26, 2026, and we could not check what each one counts.
  • We will check every number on this page again by January 26, 2027.
