A proxy changes the IP. TikTok reads four things.
This is where most people get it wrong, so it goes near the top rather than buried in an FAQ. TikTok sets the content region from several signals at once: the region the account was registered in, the SIM in the phone, the device's system region, and the IP. A proxy changes the last one only.
If your goal is to see another region's feed, the IP alone will usually not get you there, and no provider can sell you a proxy that changes where an account was registered. Knowing that before you buy is worth more than any discount.
Scraping and account work are different purchases
Scraping public data wants rotation and volume, which residential does cheaply. Running accounts wants durability and stickiness, which is what mobile is for. Buying mobile to scrape is expensive; buying rotating residential to run accounts is fragile.
