The place
Where Eccles sits
Eccles is the 171st-largest listed city in West Virginia and the 15404th-largest in United States, home to about 362 people.
It sits 700 km southwest of New York City, in the south-west of West Virginia, 639 m above sea level.
Local clocks run on New York time (America/New York).
The nearest big city is Roanoke, 130 km to the southeast.

When an exit in Eccles is worth asking for
For most sites, an IP address here identifies as United States first and Eccles second. Checks that stop at the country, and that is prices, catalogs, language and most geo-blocks, behave the same whether your exit sits in Eccles or in New York City.
City targeting starts to matter when the question is genuinely local: store stock and pickup, delivery estimates, local search results, regional pricing, or anything a map decides for you. If that is your task, ask for Eccles specifically. If it is not, the country exit is cheaper and far more stable.
City-level residential supply moves week to week everywhere, ours included. If nothing is live in Eccles the moment you ask, the reliable fallback is the United States country exit, and the free United States list shows the public pool measured live.

FAQ
Eccles proxy questions, answered
Residential plans support city-level targeting, so you can request Eccles specifically, or widen the same request to West Virginia without changing plans. What is live in any one city moves constantly, for every provider; the United States country exit is the request that never depends on one place.
To a site that reads only the country: no. Eccles and New York City look identical there. To anything local, map results, stock, delivery estimates, the city is exactly the difference, and that is the one case worth paying the supply constraint for.
In West Virginia, United States, 700 km southwest of New York City. The local timezone is New York time (America/New York). It lies 639 m above sea level.
Then take West Virginia as a whole, or the United States country exit. Single-city supply is fluid in this whole industry, and we would rather hand you the wider fallback in one click than promise a specific street and miss.
