The place
Where Maafa sits
Maafa is the 184th-largest listed city in North Kordofan and the 1730th-largest in Sudan.
It sits 280 km southwest of Khartoum, 494 m above sea level.
Local clocks run on Khartoum time (Africa/Khartoum).
The nearest big city is El Obeid, 99 km to the south.

When an exit in Maafa is worth asking for
What an exit in Maafa buys you over any other Sudan address is locality, not identity. A site that only reads the country treats Maafa and Khartoum identically, and the great majority of geo-checks work exactly that way.
The difference shows up on local questions: search results with a map pack, stock in nearby stores, delivery windows, prices that vary by area. For those, request Maafa. For everything else a plain Sudan exit does the same job with none of the supply constraints.
City-level residential supply moves week to week everywhere, ours included. If nothing is live in Maafa the moment you ask, the reliable fallback is the Sudan country exit, and the free Sudan list shows the public pool measured live.

FAQ
Maafa proxy questions, answered
Residential plans support city-level targeting, so you can request Maafa specifically, or widen the same request to North Kordofan without changing plans. What is live in any one city moves constantly, for every provider; the Sudan country exit is the request that never depends on one place.
To a site that reads only the country: no. Maafa and Khartoum look identical there. To anything local, map results, stock, delivery estimates, the city is exactly the difference, and that is the one case worth paying the supply constraint for.
In North Kordofan, Sudan, 280 km southwest of Khartoum. The local timezone is Khartoum time (Africa/Khartoum). It lies 494 m above sea level.
Then take North Kordofan as a whole, or the Sudan country exit. Single-city supply is fluid in this whole industry, and we would rather hand you the wider fallback in one click than promise a specific street and miss.
