Datacenter addresses are the cheapest thing we sell, priced per IP with no metering. IPv6 costs a fraction of IPv4 for the straightforward reason that there are vastly more of them.
Why IPv6 is so much cheaper than IPv4
IPv4 addresses are a finite, traded resource and their price reflects scarcity rather than any cost of running them. IPv6 addresses are not scarce, so they cost a fraction. If the site you are hitting supports IPv6, you are paying several times over for nothing by insisting on IPv4.
The catch is that plenty of the internet still does not accept IPv6 traffic, and that is the actual decision on this page. Check whether your target answers over IPv6 before buying the cheaper option, because a cheap address that cannot reach your target has a price of infinity.
Where datacenter genuinely wins, and where it does not
For volume against targets that do not care where traffic comes from, datacenter is the correct answer and everything else is overpaying. Speed is higher, bandwidth is not metered, and activation is immediate.
For anything touching an account, a checkout or a site with serious bot defences, a datacenter address is identifiable as one and gets treated accordingly. We would rather write that on the pricing page than sell you the cheap thing for the job it cannot do.

How much do datacenter proxies cost?+

Should I buy IPv4 or IPv6?+
IPv6 if your target accepts it, because it is much cheaper. IPv4 if it does not, which is still a large share of the internet. Test before you buy.
Is there a bandwidth charge?+
No. Datacenter addresses are priced per IP and the traffic is not metered.
Is there a per-GB option?+
Yes. Alongside the dedicated per-IP addresses, a rotating datacenter pool is billed per gigabyte, with a fresh IPv4 or IPv6 on every request. Configure it in the dashboard, where the exact per-GB rate is shown live.
Why would I pay more for residential instead?+
Because a datacenter address is recognisable as one. If your target checks, no price makes a datacenter IP the right tool.
