Integrations · Antidetect browsers

Use HProxy with Incogniton.

Add an HProxy proxy to Incogniton's Proxy Library and attach it to a profile.

Incogniton is an antidetect browser for Windows and macOS with a fingerprint generator, a cookie collector, a synchronizer and profile transfer, plus a Proxy Library that keeps every external proxy in one place for all your profiles.

Incogniton keeps each profile's fingerprint and cookies apart, but profiles that leave through one IP are still one visitor to the sites they open. Attaching a separate HProxy proxy to each profile is what keeps the separation real.

Setting up HProxy in Incogniton

  1. 1.Open Proxy Library from the left-side menu and click + New proxy in the top right.
  2. 2.Give the proxy a display name if you like, and set Connection type: HTTPS for an HProxy HTTP line, SOCKS5 for a SOCKS5 line.
  3. 3.Enter gate.hproxy.com and your port in Proxy (ip:port), then Proxy username and Proxy password from the HProxy dashboard. Pasting host:port:username:password into the ip:port field fills the rest for you.
  4. 4.Leave Rotating proxy off, click Check, then Add to save the proxy to your library.
  5. 5.Open the profile editor, go to the Proxy tab, choose Proxy Library and click Select from Proxy Library to attach it.
  6. 6.Start the profile and open an IP check inside it before you log in anywhere.

Worth knowing

Rotating proxy and its Proxy rotation API url are for providers that hand out a new IP through an API call; HProxy rotates on the gateway itself, so leave it off. If a proxy shows the wrong country in Incogniton, the Proxy provider dropdown switches the geolocation database from the main one to the backup before you suspect the line.

Frequently asked questions

HTTPS or SOCKS5 in Incogniton for HProxy?

Pick the one your HProxy line is issued for. Incogniton's HTTPS connection type is the one to use for an HProxy HTTP line, and SOCKS5 for a SOCKS5 line. The port in the dashboard belongs to one protocol, so the two are not interchangeable.

Can I add many HProxy lines to Incogniton at once?

Yes. In the Add proxy form, Bulk add at the bottom left takes one proxy per line in the format ip:port:username:password, or loads a CSV file in the same format, and Add saves them all to the Proxy Library in one go.

Why does Incogniton show a different city than I expected?

Geolocation databases disagree, especially on cities. Incogniton checks proxies against one database by default; switching the Proxy provider dropdown to the backup gives a second opinion. A wrong country is worth raising with support, a different city inside the right country is normal.

Should several Incogniton profiles share one HProxy proxy?

Not if they are meant to look unrelated. Profiles that share an exit share an address, and the address links them whatever their fingerprints say. One profile, one proxy or one sticky session.
