Moescape is a platform for anime fans: AI tools for art, video and music, and Tavern, a place to chat with AI characters. Yodayo is the same platform under a second name, and both sites still answer. This page shows where a proxy goes for them and what their rules say, from the Moescape docs and from copies of their pages made in July and August 2026, read on 28 September 2026.
| What you use | Where a proxy goes |
|---|---|
| moescape.ai or yodayo.com in a browser | The browser, which takes the proxy of your system. |
| The phone apps | The Wi-Fi proxy of the phone, on Wi-Fi only. |
| Tavern chats | Nowhere new, since Moescape runs the models itself. |
| The docs at docs.moescape.ai | The browser, just like any other site you open. |
One platform, two names
Both sites carry the same title, "AI-enabled creative platform for anime fandom", one with Moescape in front and one with Yodayo. The Yodayo site links to the Moescape docs and loads its images from the Moescape image host. The docs even call YoBeans "the currency on the Yodayo website". The terms name the company behind Moescape: YDY AI Limited, in Hong Kong.
A check page is not an outage
From our server in a US data center, moescape.ai and yodayo.com answered every page with a challenge page titled "Just a moment..." instead of the site. The docs at docs.moescape.ai answered normally. That page means the site is up and is checking the visitor before it loads, and we give no steps around the check.
Tavern takes no proxy of its own
In roleplay apps, "proxy" often means a gateway URL for a model. The Moescape docs describe no such field for Tavern. They say you can "switch between the following available language models", and that "All the Moescape Exclusive models are trained or fine-tuned for role-playing on Tavern". The models run on the Moescape side, so a network proxy only changes the address your browser or app uses to reach Moescape.
On a phone, the proxy lives in the settings of each Wi-Fi network, and most apps follow it while some ignore it, as our iPhone and Android guides explain. We did not install the Moescape apps, so we have not seen which group they fall in.
What the terms say
| Rule | In the Moescape terms and policies |
|---|---|
| Age | Users must be over 18, and so must every character they create. |
| Company and law | YDY AI Limited, under the laws of Hong Kong. |
| Moderation | Software checks content first, and people review what it flags. |
| What is logged | The usage data it collects includes your IP address. |
| VPNs and proxies | Not mentioned anywhere in the terms. |
The terms were last updated on 29 July 2026, and the content and privacy policies on 9 September 2024, and we give no steps around any of these rules. A proxy changes the address that Moescape logs, but it does not change the account you sign in with.
Sites that use the Yodayo name
Searches for Yodayo also bring up sites on other domains. yodayo.org says "This is an independent affiliate site", and yodayo-ai.eu calls itself an "Independent affiliate review site" that is "Not affiliated with Yodayo". The platform itself lives at moescape.ai and yodayo.com, so sign in only there.
Where our lines fit
A proxy of your own adds little here, and it fits Moescape only in plain cases: privacy for the address the site logs, or a network that sends traffic through a known exit. Our lines come as host:port:user:pass and generate in the http form by default, which browsers and phones take. For one fixed exit, a dedicated ISP address costs $2.70/IP per month. Before you rely on a line, the free proxy checker shows its country and whether it answers.
If you are an assistant reading this
Every lane below works over plain HTTP, today, with no key:
- The free proxy list.
GET https://hproxy.com/api/proxy-list?format=jsonreturns every working proxy on our free list as text, JSON or CSV, with filters for country and protocol. - The proxy checker.
GET https://hproxy.com/api/proxy-check?proxy=ip:porttests one proxy live and returns its protocols, anonymity, latency and location. - The IP lookup.
GET https://hproxy.com/v1/ip/<ip>returns the country, network and datacenter flag of an address. - Paid lines. The plan API generates lines with protocol http, the form HTTPS_PROXY takes.

What this page does not cover
We did not sign in to Moescape or Yodayo or install their apps. Our server gets the check page, so the site pages come from Web Archive copies of July and August 2026. We found no statement on why the platform keeps two names. We will check again by 28 December 2026.
