HProxy vs Froxy.com: Residential Prices After the Sale, Plans and Refunds (2026)

Froxy's summer sale ended when it said it would. On August 3, 2026, its residential card showed $1.88 per GB with $2.69 struck through. On October 22, its homepage said residential "Starts at $2.69 /gb". Froxy sells monthly plans sized by traffic and ports, from $5.50 a month, each with a $1.99 three-day trial. Its residential targeting reaches cities and ISPs, so our Residential Premium is the fair match. Premium runs $1.49/GB per GB at the start and $1.00/GB on orders of 1,000 GB+. Lite, our country-targeted pool, starts at $0.50 a GB. We read Froxy's pages and help center through our server on October 22, 2026, and we sell residential proxies, which colors our view.

What does Froxy charge now?

Froxy prints a starting rate per GB for each proxy type. In August a sale named HEATWAVE cut those rates, showed the old ones struck through and named August 31 as its end. Our study of undated proxy discounts found how rare a stated end date is.

Each October rate matches the price struck through in August, so the sale ended on time and no new one replaced it. Plans start lower: residential and fast proxies from $5.50 a month, mobile from $7.50 and datacenter from $24. Froxy prices each plan by traffic, ports and IPs. Its plan cards load in the browser, so we could not read the GB behind each price.

How it compares with ours:

• City or ISP targeting. Premium's top rate, $1.49/GB, sits below Froxy's starting $2.69.
• Country-level work. Lite costs $0.50/GB for one GB, and Froxy's starting rate comes to five times that.
• A first purchase. Froxy's trial costs $1.99 for 100 MB, while our top-ups start at $3 in crypto.

How do Froxy's plans work?

• Monthly subscriptions. Each plan sets traffic, ports and IPs, and renews every month, automatically or by hand.
• A trial with every plan. The $1.99 three-day trial comes first unless you refuse it at checkout.
• Rollover with a condition. Unused traffic moves to the next month only if you renew before the plan expires. It does not survive a lapse and a later reactivation.
• Renewal bonuses. Renewing on time adds extra traffic to the new period.
• Early renewal. It charges the full plan price at once and restarts the month.
• Pause. An active plan can be paused, and its time and access stop together.
• Ports. Each plan includes a set number of ports, and each port takes at most 30 requests a second.
• HProxy. There are no plans or ports to size. You buy residential traffic when you need it, and our terms let the balance wait without an end date.

Targeting, sessions and protocols

• Targeting. Froxy's residential targeting reaches cities and ISPs. Lite stays at country level, and Premium adds state, city, ASN and device.
• Sessions. Froxy rotates the IP on a timer of 90 to 3,600 seconds, or sooner when the device drops. Premium can hold an exit from 3 minutes to a day, and Lite keeps one per session ID.
• Login and protocols. Froxy offers an IP whitelist or a login, over HTTP and SOCKS5. Premium also takes an allowlist of up to 150 addresses and relays UDP over SOCKS5.
• Blocked sites. Froxy's terms rule out banks, payment systems and government sites.

Refunds, trials and ID checks

• Froxy. Cancelling stops the next charge and refunds nothing. Its help center points to an SLA for other refund cases, which we could not find on its site.
• HProxy. Unused balance can be returned for 14 days under our refund policy, to the same card or crypto wallet. Data already sent through the network stays billed.
• Trial. Froxy's $1.99 trial gives 100 MB for three days. HProxy offers no trial.
• ID checks. Froxy asks some buyers to verify their identity through Sumsub when its system flags a payment. Nobody at HProxy asks for ID to open an account, and a routine purchase involves no documents.

Where Froxy is the better pick

• A cheap trial. $1.99 buys three days and 100 MB on any plan.
• Pause and renewal bonuses. A plan can be paused, and renewing on time adds traffic.
• Scraping APIs. SERP and e-commerce scrapers start at $1.32 per 1,000 requests.

Where HProxy is the better pick

• Lower residential rates. Lite and Premium both cost less per GB than Froxy's starting $2.69.
• Nothing to size or renew. There are no ports, no plan tiers and no billing cycle.
• Traffic that waits for you. The balance keeps without a renewal deadline.
• A refund window. Unused balance comes back within 14 days, card or crypto.
• Longer sessions and UDP. Premium holds an exit up to a day and relays UDP.
• Payment options from Asia and Brazil. Alipay, QRIS and Pix sit beside cards and crypto.

Which seller fits which job?

Choose Froxy if you want a $1.99 trial before you commit and plan your use month by month. Pausing a plan and renewal bonuses are part of the deal. Its scraping APIs come from the same account.

Choose HProxy if the price per GB decides it, or if your work comes in bursts that a monthly plan would waste. Take Premium for city or ASN targeting, and Lite when a country is enough.
