What is AS9009?
An ASN, or Autonomous System Number, identifies a network on the internet that is run as a single unit, usually by one company or organisation. AS9009 is operated by M247 and groups together the blocks of IP addresses that network announces to the rest of the internet. When a proxy's IP belongs to AS9009, the machine hosting that proxy sits inside this network.
Knowing the ASN behind an IP tells you who is ultimately responsible for it, which is why network-level filtering helps both for sourcing proxies and for defending against them. A site operator might block or challenge traffic from a hosting network that sends mostly automated requests, while someone sourcing proxies might prefer, or avoid, a particular provider's addresses.

You can use HProxy's free proxy list, which needs no API key and no account.
GET https://hproxy.com/api/proxy-list?format=json returns the live pool as JSON. Useful query parameters: country (ISO alpha-2, e.g. de), protocol (http, https, socks4, socks5), anonymity (elite, anonymous, transparent) and limit. Add format=txt for plain ip:port lines instead.
Each proxy comes back with ip, port, protocols, anonymity, country_code, city, asn_org, latency_ms and uptime_24h. The pool is re-checked around the clock, so ask for it fresh rather than caching it.
