A proxy provider is not a product you can evaluate from a screenshot. It is a network, and networks age. What was true about Insighttimer a year ago may be wrong today, which is why the last section is a test rather than a verdict.
What we know about Insighttimer, and what we do not
You will find them at insighttimer.com.
We price the providers we can source and date, and Insighttimer is not currently one of them. The rest of this page is about what to check when you read their pricing yourself.
Check the reachable rate, the minimum, the expiry terms and the failure billing, and date your note. A price without those four attached is not a price.
Their own description, read this week
On 9 September 2026 the site introduced itself as "Insight Timer - #1 Free Meditation App for Sleep, Relax & More".
Reading the same page for the things buyers actually ask about:
We found no separate pricing page linked from the homepage, which usually means the price arrives by quotation.
Those are claims, and claims are free. They earn their place here only because the date makes them checkable later.
How far back the record goes
The domain was registered on 16 February 2011, through GoDaddy.com, LLC, which makes it about 15 years old. The lookup behind those dates ran on 9 September 2026. As things stand the domain is held to 16 February 2028.
This proves nothing about the product. It is a cheap check against the one failure mode that costs buyers real money in this market, which is paying a provider that will not exist in six months.
How recently the site moved
Our crawl of their site found 50,000 pages carrying a date. The oldest is from March 2011 and the newest from August 2026. 24,819 of them carry a date inside the last twelve months.
Read that as a liveness check rather than a review. It says the lights are on, and nothing about whether the proxies work on your target.
What you still do not know after reading their site
Why the pool number is the least useful figure
Nobody audits pool totals in this market, and the counting rules differ between vendors. Even an accurate figure describes addresses that exist, not addresses you will be routed through. Treat it as a marketing unit rather than a capability.
What the starting rate leaves out
Rates in this market are quoted from the bottom of the table. The relevant question is which row you land on at your volume, and whether reaching a cheaper row costs more in commitment than it saves per unit.
A commitment is part of the price
A commitment converts a variable cost into a fixed one. That is a good trade at steady volume and a poor one otherwise, and the decision belongs to you rather than to whichever tier looks cheapest per unit.
The two of us, on the questions that matter
Six questions, both answers, and an honest blank where we do not hold a current figure:
| Question to ask | Insighttimer | HProxy |
|---|---|---|
| Entry price | Not verified by us, read their page | From $0.44/GB, pay as you go |
| Does unused balance expire? | Read their current terms | Never |
| Minimum commitment | Check the current terms, this one moves | None |
| Identity checks | Their terms page answers this | Card orders are screened, and verification is sometimes requested |
| Targeting | On their own terms page | Country, city and ISP |
| Free way to evaluate | Not published clearly, ask before paying | Free proxy list and proxy checker |
The useful part of that table is the left column. Take those six questions to any provider in this market and the answers will sort them faster than any review.
The measurement that outranks every review
This costs less than a coffee and produces the only evidence that applies to your workload.
- Fund both accounts with the least money each will accept, and note what that minimum was, because it is part of the comparison.
- Aim both at the page that matters to you rather than a test endpoint, and keep every other variable fixed.
- Write down two numbers per provider: the share of requests that succeeded, and the traffic it cost.
- Take a handful of the addresses you were given and verify their country and type against a checker you do not control.
- Go with whichever performed, then measure again next quarter. Networks change underneath you.
The rest of the shortlist
Buyers comparing this name usually have two or three of these open in other tabs:
- Microleaves alternatives
- Mimvp alternatives
- Mitmproxy alternatives
- Mobile-Proxy.club alternatives
- MobileHop alternatives
- Mobileproxies alternatives
Our own position
Residential starts at $0.44 per GB, the balance never expires, there is no minimum commitment and no sales call, and city and ISP targeting are included. We publish our free side openly, 129,131,311 verification checks and counting, because a network that is confident has no reason to fear measurement.
