FC2 alternatives: what to check before you switch

Looking past FC2? Match the units, find the expiry clause, then measure success rate on your own target. This page covers all three.

Free proxies won't hold up here.

Shared datacenter IPs get flagged and dropped fast. When it has to hold, gaming, streaming, accounts, you need mobile and residential IPs that read as a real device, from $0.44/GB, pay as you go.

Residential proxies

Buyers rarely leave a proxy provider over features. They leave over a bill that grew, a balance that vanished, a country that stopped working, or a support ticket that went unanswered. This page is organised around those four.

What we know about FC2, and what we do not

FC2 trades at fc2.com.

We have no verified current rate for FC2 on file. Printing a guess would make this page worse than useless, so the price row below is empty and the reading list is not.

Take down four numbers and a date: reachable rate, minimum purchase, commitment for the floor rate, and expiry period. Anything less and you cannot compare them to anyone.

FC2 in its own words

On 9 September 2026 the site introduced itself as "FC2 - Free Website, Analyzer, Blog, Rental Server, SEO Countermeasures, etc. -". In the description they hand to search engines: "FC2 is a portal site which brings you a pleasant web life providing blog/website/analyzer services and others. Our blog service is ranked No.2 domestically and supported by wide range of users including both beginners and heavy users. We offer as many as 30 different services."

Taken from the same page, on the same day:

We found no separate pricing page linked from the homepage, which usually means the price arrives by quotation.

That is the vendor speaking, not us. We print it because a claim with a date attached is at least falsifiable.

Age, and why it matters here

The domain was registered on 20 May 1999, through Tucows Domains Inc, which makes it about 27 years old. The lookup behind those dates ran on 9 September 2026. As things stand the domain is held to 20 May 2028.

This proves nothing about the product. It is a cheap check against the one failure mode that costs buyers real money in this market, which is paying a provider that will not exist in six months.

What buyers type into Google about them

Search volume around the name runs to 210 a month, split as 210 a month for a review of them. Figures read from Google Keyword Planner on 9 September 2026.

The biggest slice is people checking whether to trust it, so the useful thing to hand a reader is evidence rather than an opinion.

At up to $15.48 a click, these are expensive words. Worth remembering when a review ranks first and happens to recommend whoever pays the most.

The questions behind the numbers

The comparison that is not a comparison

Residential is normally billed per gigabyte, datacenter and ISP per address, mobile per day or per port. Setting one against another produces a number that means nothing. Convert both sides into the unit your own workload consumes.

Who else is using your address

A shared address arrives with a history you did not create and cannot see. For read-only work it rarely matters. For anything that keeps a session, it is the most common cause of unexplained failure.

Ask whether failed requests are billed

On a hard target, failures are the majority of your traffic. Whether those failures are billed decides the real cost, and the clause covering it is rarely on the pricing page.

The comparison, honestly framed

Set the two side by side on the questions that decide the outcome, rather than on feature counts:

Question to askFC2HProxy
Entry priceNot verified by us, read their pageFrom $0.44/GB, pay as you go
Does unused balance expire?Read their current termsNever
Minimum commitmentCheck the current terms, this one movesNone
Identity checksTheir terms page answers thisCard orders are screened, and verification is sometimes requested

Read the table as a list of questions rather than a scoreboard. The answers on their side move, and the row that decides the outcome, success rate on your target, is not printable by anyone.

What to do instead of reading more comparisons

The steps below take about ten minutes and settle the question properly.

  1. Take the smallest paid unit each provider will sell you. A free trial works for a first pass, though trials sometimes ride better pools than paid plans do.
  2. Fire the same batch through both on one afternoon. Different days are different conditions, and that ruins the comparison.
  3. Track the success rate and the bandwidth. A cheap gigabyte that fails half the time is not cheap.
  4. Run a sample of the addresses through an independent lookup, because advertised geography and actual geography differ more often than the market admits.
  5. Go with whichever performed, then measure again next quarter. Networks change underneath you.

The rest of the shortlist

Buyers comparing this name usually have two or three of these open in other tabs:

Our own position

Residential starts at $0.44 per GB, the balance never expires, there is no minimum commitment and no sales call, and city and ISP targeting are included. We publish our free side openly, 129,131,311 verification checks and counting, because a network that is confident has no reason to fear measurement.

Frequently asked questions

Why look for a FC2 alternative at all?
The usual reasons any buyer compares two providers: the pricing model stopped fitting the usage pattern, a target started blocking, a specific country underperformed, a balance expired, or support went quiet. None of those is visible from a marketing page, which is why a small paid test on your own target settles it faster than any review.
What does FC2 advertise?
We do not hold a current, sourced price for FC2, so this page does not print one. Read their own pricing page for the rate, the minimum and the commitment, and note the date you read it, because all three move.
How do I compare two providers fairly?
Match the units first, because residential is billed per gigabyte, datacenter and ISP per address, and mobile per day or per port. Then compare the rate you can actually reach today rather than the volume tier behind a commitment. Finish by measuring the success rate on your own target, since a cheap request that fails costs more than a dearer one that works.
Is a cheaper provider usually worse?
Not reliably. Price in this market reflects the supply model and the sales overhead as much as the network. What price does not tell you is the success rate on your target, and that is the figure that decides whether the cheaper option was cheap or expensive. Measure before assuming either way.
Do I have to talk to sales or sign a contract to switch?
Not with us. You can sign up, add funds and send traffic without a call, a minimum or a subscription. Whether another provider requires any of those is on their own pricing page and is worth reading, because a required commitment is part of the price even when it is not part of the rate.

Proxies that don't die mid-job

Residential, ISP, datacenter and mobile, verified by the same engine that runs tens of millions of checks. They read as a real device and hold up under load. Pay as you go, and your balance never expires. $0.44/GB is the 2,000 GB+ rate; a single gigabyte is $0.50/GB, with no minimum order.
