The last capture that shows the proxy itself is from 1 August 2013 and the archive kept visiting until 4 January 2018.
A free proxy on a free domain has the lifespan of the domain. .tk names came from Freenom at no cost, Freenom stopped handing them out in early 2023 under legal pressure from Meta, and the existing ones stopped answering during the year that followed. That is why almost the entire directory went quiet at once rather than one site at a time.
The address today
We checked williamj.tk on 10 September 2026 from our own server. The name does not resolve: there is no address behind it, so nothing can be served from it.
What we would use
