serversproxy.net is gone in the most literal sense: the name itself no longer exists in the domain system. The last page anyone saved from it dates to January 2019.
The site behind the name
The Internet Archive's first working copy of serversproxy.net is from November 2009 and it holds 44 days of captures in total.
Underneath it was Glype, the same free script the rest of the directory ran.
Somebody submitted it to workingproxysites.com 13 years ago, and that listing counted 412 clicks through to it. Its entry gives the country as Europe.
How it ended
The last capture that returned a page at all is from 4 January 2019 and the archive kept visiting until 24 December 2021.
Where the address points now
We checked serversproxy.net on 10 September 2026 from our own server. No address comes back for it at all, so a browser gives up before it can ask for a page.
The replacement
What this site did, a page you browse through, is worth less now than a list you can test. Our free proxy list carries a last-checked time on every entry and re-verifies every few minutes; the checker tests any single address you bring.
None of that makes free proxies reliable. They are shared, so targets have seen the address before, and they hold no session, which breaks logins.
What this page cannot tell you
Why it stopped is not in the record. A dead name and an archive that runs out show that something ended, not the reason for it, and we will not put a reason in print that the record does not carry.
Our status check is one day from one vantage point, and a site that refuses requests from data centres would look the same as one that is switched off. We will check this page again by 1 January 2027.
