secret-dating.tk is gone in the most literal sense: the name itself no longer exists in the domain system. The last page anyone saved from it dates to November 2013.
The site it used to be
The Internet Archive's first working copy of secret-dating.tk is from November 2013 and it holds 4 days of captures in total.
The page called itself "Magic Proxy". Underneath it was Glype, the same free script the rest of the directory ran.
A directory of free web proxies, workingproxysites.com, took the listing 13 years ago, and that listing counted 264 clicks through to it.
When it stopped
The last capture that shows the proxy itself is from 3 November 2013 and the archive kept visiting until 17 January 2018.
The ending explains the timing. .tk was free through Freenom, which is exactly why so many one-page proxies used it, and when Freenom froze registrations in early 2023 the whole layer went with it. Our check of all 8,948 listed sites found 8,831 names that no longer exist.
What answers there now
We checked secret-dating.tk on 10 September 2026 from our own server. Nothing resolves. The lookup comes back empty, which means no server can even be reached, let alone a proxy.
The replacement
What this site did, a page you browse through, is worth less now than a list you can test. Our free proxy list carries a last-checked time on every entry and re-verifies every few minutes; the checker tests any single address you bring.
None of that makes free proxies reliable. They are shared, so targets have seen the address before, and they hold no session, which breaks logins.
What we could not establish
No public document explains the ending. We can date it and describe it; anything about motive would be invention, and this page prints none.
This is a single reading from a single vantage point. A proxy that turns away data centre addresses would give us the same silence as a proxy that no longer exists. We recheck by 1 January 2027.
