Qaedaplot.tk stopped working: the record, and the replacement

Qaedaplot.tk was a free web proxy the archive first saved in October 2013. What it was, when it stopped, what the name does today, and a list that is still checked.

Skip the dead lists.

Our free proxy list re-checks every exit every few minutes across 100+ countries, with a live last-checked time, so you copy IPs that worked moments ago, not a stale text dump.

There is nothing left at qaedaplot.tk. The domain no longer resolves at all, and the archive's last working copy of the site is from October 2013.

What sat at this address

The Internet Archive's first working copy of qaedaplot.tk is from October 2013 and it holds 4 days of captures in total.

The page called itself "Hide Traces". The directory recorded it as a Glype install, which is what nearly all of these sites were.

The listing that carried it, on the free proxy directory workingproxysites.com, is 13 years old, and 198 people clicked through from there.

When it went quiet

The last capture that shows the proxy itself is from 1 October 2013 and the archive kept visiting until 20 September 2017.

The address is part of the reason. A .tk name was free, handed out by Freenom, and free is what most of these proxies were built on. Freenom stopped issuing new names in early 2023 after Meta sued it over domains used in phishing, and the names already out there stopped resolving over the following year. We checked the whole directory: 8,281 of its 8,948 sites used a .tk address and 8,275 of those are now gone.

What the name does today

We checked qaedaplot.tk on 10 September 2026 from our own server. The lookup fails outright. Without an address there is nothing to connect to, whatever a directory still says about it.

Where to go from here

A list with a visible last-checked time beats a remembered domain. Ours re-verifies every few minutes; the checker tests a single address if you would rather bring your own.

Expect what free has always meant: shared addresses that targets recognise, and no session persistence, which breaks anything behind a login.

Where the record runs out

There is no account of who ran it or why they stopped. Small sites like this one leave dates behind, not explanations, and we would rather say so than fill the gap.

Treat the check as one sample: taken on one day, from one network. Anything refusing data centre traffic looks identical to something switched off. Due for a recheck by 1 January 2027.
