larkobocknow.tk answers nothing today, because the name itself was given up. A browser asking for it gets no address back at all, and the last saved copy of the site is from November 2014.
The site behind the name
The Internet Archive's first working copy of larkobocknow.tk is from November 2014 and it holds 5 days of captures in total.
The page called itself "Proxy For Freedom". The directory recorded it as a PHProxy install, which is what nearly all of these sites were.
Somebody submitted it to workingproxysites.com 12 years ago, and 286 people clicked through from there. The directory recorded it as United States.
How it ended
The last capture that shows the proxy itself is from 15 November 2014 and the archive kept visiting until 7 January 2018.
This was not a site that failed on its own. .tk was one of five free domain endings run by Freenom, which froze new registrations in early 2023 after a lawsuit from Meta, and the free names died with the arrangement. In our census of the directory, 92 percent of the listed proxies sat on one of those free endings.
Where the address points now
We checked larkobocknow.tk on 10 September 2026 from our own server. No address comes back for it at all, so a browser gives up before it can ask for a page.
A working replacement
The useful thing is not another proxy name, it is a list somebody re-checks. Ours drops entries the moment they stop answering, and the checker will tell you whether an address you already have still relays anything.
Free proxies remain shared and short lived, which is fine for opening one blocked page and wrong for anything that has to hold a session.
What this page cannot tell you
Why it stopped is not in the record. A dead name and an archive that runs out show that something ended, not the reason for it, and we will not put a reason in print that the record does not carry.
Our status check is one day from one vantage point, and a site that refuses requests from data centres would look the same as one that is switched off. We will check this page again by 1 January 2027.
