When it stopped
The last capture that shows the proxy itself is from 9 July 2019 and the archive kept visiting until 2 December 2022.
By 18 January 2022 the same address answered with something else: the capture from that day is titled "germanproxy.co - contact with domain owner | Epik.com".
What the name does today
We checked germanproxy.co on 10 September 2026 from our own server. The name does not resolve: there is no address behind it, so nothing can be served from it.
What still works
The replacement for a dead web proxy is not another name to remember. Our free proxy list shows when each entry was last checked and re-verifies every few minutes, and the checker tests an address you bring yourself.
Free proxies stay shared and short lived. For opening a blocked page that is usually enough, and for anything that has to work at a particular moment it is not.
What this page cannot tell you
The record shows when, not why. Nothing public says whether the operator lost interest, lost the hosting, or simply moved on, so this page does not guess.
Our status check is one day from one vantage point, and a site that refuses requests from data centres would look the same as one that is switched off. We will check this page again by 1 January 2027.
