Typing bypassy.com today gets you a parking page put there by whoever holds the name. The proxy behind it stopped being captured after January 2026.

It was listed on workingproxysites.com, a directory of free web proxies, 12 years ago, and that listing counted 236 clicks through to it. The directory recorded it as France.

The last capture that shows the proxy itself is from 19 January 2026.
What the name does today
We checked bypassy.com on 10 September 2026 from our own server in Germany. It answers with parked.
People still look for it: 10 searches a month for the name, according to Google's Keyword Planner read on 10 September 2026.
What to use instead
Use a list somebody keeps checking rather than a name that used to work. Our free proxy list is re-verified every few minutes, and an address that stops answering leaves it instead of sitting there for years. If you already have an address, the proxy checker will tell you whether it still relays anything.
The limits of free are the same everywhere, ours included: the addresses are shared, so the sites that care have seen them before, and there is no session to hold, so logins break part way through.
What this page cannot tell you
The record shows when, not why. Nothing public says whether the operator lost interest, lost the hosting, or simply moved on, so this page does not guess.
Our status check is one day from one vantage point, and a site that refuses requests from data centres would look the same as one that is switched off. We will check this page again by 1 January 2027.
