On 9 September 2026 the site introduced itself as "proxysite.us, 521: Web server is down".
Also on the page, stated plainly:
We found no separate pricing page linked from the homepage, which usually means the price arrives by quotation.
None of that is verified performance. It is what the vendor chose to publish, recorded with a date so you can see whether it still says the same thing.
How long Proxysite has been trading
The Internet Archive holds 162 snapshots of the site, the earliest from April 2006.
This proves nothing about the product. It is a cheap check against the one failure mode that costs buyers real money in this market, which is paying a provider that will not exist in six months.
What people actually search about Proxysite
Search volume around the name runs to 150 a month, split as 140 a month for an alternative to them and 10 a month for a review of them. Figures read from Google Keyword Planner on 9 September 2026.
The biggest slice is people looking for a way out, so the useful thing to hand a reader is evidence rather than an opinion.

The privacy question worth asking
Anything routing your traffic can read it unless it is encrypted end to end, and can alter anything that is not. Assume the operator sees the metadata and decide whether that is acceptable for the work.
A verdict has a shelf life
Supply changes hands quietly in this industry. The network behind a brand can be replaced with no announcement, which is why a benchmark is a perishable good and a re-test is cheap insurance.
Shared or dedicated changes everything
Ask how many accounts can sit on one address at once. Where the answer is unlimited or unspecified, price the plan as shared regardless of what the product is called.

Read the table as a list of questions rather than a scoreboard. The answers on their side move, and the row that decides the outcome, success rate on your target, is not printable by anyone.
What to do instead of reading more comparisons
The steps below take about ten minutes and settle the question properly.
- Fund both accounts with the least money each will accept, and note what that minimum was, because it is part of the comparison.
- Aim both at the page that matters to you rather than a test endpoint, and keep every other variable fixed.
- Track the success rate and the bandwidth. A cheap gigabyte that fails half the time is not cheap.
- Run a sample of the addresses through an independent lookup, because advertised geography and actual geography differ more often than the market admits.
- Go with whichever performed, then measure again next quarter. Networks change underneath you.
